NETS - Misses
What are misses and why are they important in drug development?
Misses are compounds that do not produce the desired effect in high-throughput screening (HTS) assays. This means that the compound failed to produce the desired effect only in one specific assay. Compounds that do not work in an assay for one disease might be effective in an assay for a different disease.
