The Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) works to strengthen laboratories serving the public's health in the US and abroad. By promoting effective programs and public policy, APHL strives to provide public health laboratories with the resources to protect the health of US residents and to prevent and control disease globally. APHL’s core membership includes public health, environmental, and agricultural laboratories. Representatives from federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, and corporations as well as interested individuals also participate in the association.
