About the Position
A successful candidate will possess creativity and exceptional project management skills. S/he will be able to effectively coordinate the placement of web content developed by staff. S/he will work with both staff and outside vendors to create new web applications and tools that support strategic web and business initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of experience in web design, development, or project management
- Must have experience with or basic understanding of LAMP development tools & technologies
- Experience turning management requests into technical specifications
- Understanding of best practices for the web when applying information architecture, content strategy, and user experience to projects
- Thrives in a fast-paced and stimulating environment
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately to a range of audiences, both verbally and in writing
- Experience working with diverse organizations/fields
- Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop or Illustrator
- Familiarity with Drupal, Wiki engines, or other open source software
- Experience using/selecting/supporting CRM software
- Can act a liaison with hosting vendor and outside development vendors when web server support issues arise.
- Understanding of xHTML, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks / Libraries. HTML 5 and CSS 3 is a plus.
