2010 Genetic Alliance Annual Conference Daylong Services Symposium
|
Daylong Symposium: Services This year’s Services daylong session focuses on novel and appropriate methods for communicating genetics information. The first half of the day features individual speakers presenting examples of how a specific medium is used to disseminate genetic and/or risk information. Many types of media will be showcased, from traditional print-based outreach to tech-driven approaches. During the afternoon, panelists representing a variety of perspectives debate how best to navigate the matrix of message content, media type, target audience, funding, and timing of message delivery. A mix of presentations, Q&A sessions, and small-group discussion will keep participants engaged throughout the day while promoting innovation and brainstorming on the fly. Co-facilitated by: |
