2010 Annual Conference
2010 Annual Conference:
Advancing Novel Partnerships
July 15-18
Early Bird Registration Deadline – May 30, 2010
The Genetic Alliance Annual Conference is consistently inspirational and enables partnership among all stakeholders: advocates and community leaders, health and industry professionals, policymakers and academicians. We hope you will join us for another conference journey.
We launch Thursday with our traditional Genetics Day on the Hill, followed by the 2nd Annual Gene Screen: A Night of Film on Health and Genetics.
On Friday, choose from four daylong symposia on Research, Genetics Services, Organizational Development, and Transformational Leadership. Later, enjoy a new format for dinner: choose from two simultaneous debates that offer a unique opportunity for cutting edge discourse relevant to the genetics community.
On Saturday, workshops shed new light on a range of topics from health IT to community engagement and, of course, partnerships. Saturday evening, the community celebrates our award winners in advocacy, reporting, listening and novel partnerships.
Sunday morning we kick back with brunch followed by an open space session. Participants will choose to revisit principles from the leadership daylong symposium or explore the more free-form "Open Innovation" sessions that all you to create your own workshops (more on this novel concept to follow).
As usual, the conference will be held at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in metro Washington, DC. Do not miss your chance to explore and create novel partnerships in health!
