Exhibitor Opportunities
Conference dates: July 17 - 19, 2009
The deadline for submission of the exhibitor application/agreement
is June 5, 2009.
During the Genetic Alliance 2009 Annual conference, exhibit tables are available for use by not-for-profit organizations, and professional and industry groups that wish to display their resources and materials (including brochures, newsletters, and/or publications) to conference participants.
Exhibitors are provided with:
- Complimentary draped exhibit table (approximate size of 6ft L x 2 1/2 ft W x 2 1/2 ft H)
- One complimentary full conference registration ($395 value, includes 7 meals plus snack breaks)
- Exhibitor recognition on the Genetic Alliance website. See our 2008 conference exhibitors here.
- Free on-site storage
Exhibits will be open to the public during the following times:

Saturday, July 18, 2009 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday, July19, 2009 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

* Exhibit space is limited. It will be granted in the order in which payment is received.
Exhibitor fees
* Commercial: $950
* Non-Profit 1: $700
This exhibit category applies to the following types of organizations:
academic or medical center affiliated laboratories, programs and publishers
that hold non-profit status or any other "not for profit" entity that sells
a product or service to the professional attendees or their institutions.
* Non-Profit 2: $500
This exhibit category applies to the following types of organizations only:
family/patient advocacy groups, membership/volunteer organizations and
governmental agencies. Non-profits selling products or services should apply
as Non-Profit 1 (see above).

Shipping and setting up your exhibit

Exhibit shipments:
The Bethesda North Marriott will be accepting shipped boxes or packages for an event from the approved applications/agreements up to 3 days prior exhibit, due to limited space. (starting July 15, 2009)

Any materials being brought in by an outside exhibitor (on the day of the actual exhibiting) that do not absolutely require the use of the loading dock must be brought in through the conference center entrance as our loading dock can get very busy. It is the responsibility of each vendor/exhibitor to load-in, set-up, dismantle, and load out all of their own equipment.
