Genetic Alliance invites communities to apply for Community Centered Family Health History (CCFHH) Program Awards to integrate use of the customizable online Does it Run in the Family? toolkit into their existing programs or initiatives. Get your community involved!
Community: A population that may be defined by geography, culture, race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other health condition, or groups that have a common interest or cause, such as health or service agencies and organizations, health practitioners, policymakers, or groups with public health concerns
CCFHH created a family history tool with the goal of making it accessible and sustainable in diverse communities. Eight organizations customized two booklets with information particular to their communities. View them here.
Through the online version, users will be able to choose photos, personal health stories, quotations, and disease-specific information from an online file library, or upload their own, and print multiple copies of their personalized booklets.
