Anabel Stenzel, MS, CGC
Anabel Stenzel graduated from Stanford University with degrees in Human Biology and completed a Master’s of Science degree in Genetic Counseling at the University of California, Berkeley . Anabel has worked as a perinatal genetic counselor at Stanford University Medical Center for over 10 years. Together with her twin sister, Isabel, she co-authored a memoir, "The Power of Two: A Twin Triumph over Cystic Fibrosis" which chronicles their personal struggles with cystic fibrosis and their recovery to health through lung transplantation. Anabel is an active public speaker, educator and volunteer in the cystic fibrosis and transplantation community. She serves on the Board of Directors of Cystic Fibrosis Research Inc. and is an active volunteer for the California Transplant Donor Network, which helps raise awareness about the critical need for organ donation. In their spare time, Anabel enjoy hiking, swimming and spending time with family and friends.
