Vamsee Pamula is a co-founder and chief technology officer of Advanced Liquid Logic Inc., which develops digital microfluidics for clinical diagnostics, screening, and other research applications. His current research interests include development of inexpensive and accessible diagnostic devices. He serves as a principal investigator on several projects funded by the NIH, has given numerous talks on digital microfluidics, has published dozens of articles, authored two book chapters and a book, and has over 100 issued and pending patent applications.

He has a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University. He also serves on the graduate faculty at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Duke University.
