Penny Kyler, MA, OTR, FAOTA Penny Kyler, MA, OTR, FAOTA, is a Public Health Analyst of the Genetic Services Branch, Division of Children with Special Health Needs, Maternal and Child Health Bureau, of the Health Resources and Services Administration, Department of Health and Human Services. She is also an occupational therapist and an ethicist. Her areas of responsibility include a focus on translational genetics, taking the fundamental laboratory genetics discoveries and applying them to medical genetics resources and services to create or improve diagnosis, management, and treatment of disease and affect the general population’s knowledge of genetics and health-seeking behavior. She is the project officer for the CGEN Project. |
