Felicia DeRosa, MPA Felicia DeRosa is the Program Director for the Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance. As the Program Director of FARA, Ms. DeRosa is responsible for the management of the Patient Registry and day to day operations of the organization as well as working with patients and families on their grassroots fundraising initiatives. Prior to working with FARA, Ms. DeRosa coordinated GYN medical oncology clinical trials at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for over 5 years. There, she managed a team of study assistants that implemented drug trials in newly diagnosed, recurrent, and remission ovarian cancer patients as well as Phase I trials in solid tumors. The Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to the pursuit of scientific research leading to treatments and a cure for Friedreich's ataxia. FARA's Mission is to marshal and focus the resources and relationships needed to cure FA by raising funds for research, promoting public awareness, and aligning scientists, patients, clinicians, government agencies, pharmaceutical companies and other organizations dedicated to curing FA and related diseases. One of FARA's programs is a patient registry and support of a collaborative clinical research network. |
