Deputy Director of Engagement
In her role as Deputy Director of Engagement for the PCORnet Coordinating Center at Genetic Alliance, Kathleen supports PCORnet activities, including developing stakeholder engagement strategies and facilitating opportunities for learning across the network. Kathleen has expertise in outreach, grassroots organizing, and coalition building to improve the health and well being of communities. She is passionate about leveraging technology to empower all individuals to take control of their own health. Prior to joining Genetic Alliance, Kathleen directed outreach and partnerships for Text4baby, the nation’s largest free mobile health service for pregnant women and mothers of infants. Kathleen also previously worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies where she contributed research for reports and policy recommendations in the Global Health Policy Center. She has a background in community organizing around issues of health, community development, and social justice.
Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University.
