Kyungsun Lee
Program Coordinator

As a program coordinator, KyungSun works with Genetic Alliance’s innovative registry platform, the Platform for Engaging Everyone Responsibly (PEER), and the Community Engaged Network for All (CENA), a people-driven health network made up of 10 disease advocacy organizations. She provides support to organizations and projects currently using PEER, and researches best practices in engaging individuals and families to drive new knowledge about their health.

KyungSun received a B.A. from the University of Richmond with a self-designed degree in Social Entrepreneurship. Prior to Genetic Alliance, she worked internationally with the Deputy Labour Party Spokesperson for Health at the Scottish Parliament. She also served as the coordinator for Virginia’s certified B Corps, a group of 22 certified for-profit businesses who are part of an international movement to driving financial, social, and environmental impact. These two experiences shaped her interest in health and social innovation, and her goal is to leverage her experiences to help grow innovative healthcare programs. In her free time, KyungSun enjoys hiking, singing, and trying new Asian restaurants.
