After spending time as an intern and fellow, Alyson Krokosky joined Genetic Alliance as a full-time staff member in June 2009. She collaborates with many organizations in the Genetic Alliance network to maintain and expand Disease InfoSearch as well as other educational tools and materials. She also provides support to many of Genetic Alliance’s grants focused on newborn screening and early childhood.
Originally from Wisconsin, Alyson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Furman University in 2007. In 2009, she earned a Master of Science degree in Human Genetics from the University of Michigan. During her graduate training, she conducted research to understand the quality of life of adolescents and young adults with vision loss.
