Eric Lander: Innovator
Eric Lander can join the ranks of Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp, as Reuters just named him the world's "hottest" researcher. Okay, the definition's are a little different, but there is no disputing that Eric is on fire! He was one of the principle forces behind the Human Genome Project and continues to be on the cutting edge of genomic discovery and innovation. In 2008 Eric was named a co-chair of President Obama's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, and Eric's work has been cited more than any other researcher's in the last two years.
Innovation is collaborative in nature. The Innovator Series showcases some of the many partners Genetic Alliance has worked with over the past quarter century. Each individual utilized teamwork and a community approach to contribute substantially to innovation in genetics and health.
Through this video series, we reflect on our successes through the lenses of several visionary members of our community. We will channel their curiosity for inspired innovation in our 26th year
and beyond.
Please enjoy the series. We will continue to unveil new Innovators throughout our 25th year.
